Purple Door Music Academy

I have been singing for my entire life (over 40 years!!) and have taken voice lessons, sung with multiple choirs and participated in a variety of workshops, etc. Even with all this experience, in the first four lessons with Kim, I have learned so much about my voice as an instrument, and about myself as a singer - more than I have in a very long time! As an instructor, she is kind, positive and caring; but most importantly, Kim creates a safe environment to experiment and explore vocal sounds and techniques to better understand my voice and how to use it properly. For the first time, my voice and I are working as a team - and Kim is the person who helped me get there!! I would highly recommend Kim for anyone considering voice lessons!!

I've really enjoyed taking voice lessons at Purple Door. My teacher, Jessica, is extremely supportive and has given me confidence in my singing... or at least a lot more confidence than I had beforehand! Purple Door has an awesome setup that has allowed them to adapt to safe in-person or virtual lessons in COVID times. Highly recommended.

Love Purple Door! Kim, the owner, is fabulous and Kit, my teacher, is wonderful. Definitely recommend private lessons with them! I have learned so much and really enjoyed singing with Purple Door.
